These terms cover your use of the Zoomingscreen Chrome extension, this website, your Zoomingscreen account and Zoomingscreen Pro. By installing the extension, making an account or buying Pro you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Zoomingscreen.

What Zoomingscreen is

Zoomingscreen records a browser tab, a window or a screen, and helps you edit the recording into a finished video. Recording, editing and exporting all happen on your computer. Automatic zooms and click rings are available for browser tab recordings. Screen and window recordings support zooms you add by hand.

Your account

You need an account to buy Pro. Keep your password to yourself, and keep access to your email address, since that is how you reset your password and where your key is sent. You are responsible for what happens in your account. One account is for one person.

Plans

The free plan can be used without limit. Exports on the free plan include a small Zoomingscreen mark and are limited to 1080p. Pro removes the mark and allows higher resolutions. Pro is offered monthly or as a one time lifetime purchase. Monthly plans renew until cancelled, and you can cancel any time from your account page. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. When Pro ends, Zoomingscreen continues on the free plan and your recordings are untouched.

Your key

With Pro you get one key, sent to your email. It works on one computer, the first one you activate it on. If you change computers, you can move it from your account page once a month. We may also move it for you when you ask. Keys are personal: do not share, publish or resell them, and do not try to get around the key check or the free plan limits. We may stop a key that is shared or abused, and close accounts that break these terms.

Payment and refunds

Purchases are processed by Polar, our reseller and merchant of record, under their terms. Prices, taxes and the refund policy are shown at checkout. A refunded purchase ends Pro.

Your recordings

You own what you record and what you export. We never receive your recordings. You are responsible for having the right to record what appears on your screen, including other people's content, personal information and anything covered by confidentiality or copyright, and for how you use your videos. Tell people when you record them where the law requires it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Zoomingscreen to break the law, to record people or content you are not allowed to record, or to capture login details or payment information that is not yours. Do not copy, modify or redistribute the extension except as the law allows.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Zoomingscreen reliable and to keep Pro available for as long as it is sold. We may update the extension, add or change features, and change these terms. For material changes to these terms we will give notice on this page before they apply. Chrome itself may change in ways that affect what an extension can do, and some features may then need to change.

Keep your own copies

Recordings live in your browser's storage. Clearing browser data, removing the extension or a failing disk can delete them, and we cannot recover them because we never had them. Export anything you want to keep.

Warranty

Zoomingscreen is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be free of errors, work with every website, or suit a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Zoomingscreen in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.

Ending

You can stop using Zoomingscreen at any time by removing the extension, and ask us to delete your account. We may end an account or key that is used in breach of these terms. The sections on your recordings, warranty and liability continue after that.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
